SyFy – ‘Haven’ Renewed For Fourth Season (UPDATE: PRESS RELEASE INCLUDED)

Since I can’t find a press release to confirm this, I’m just going to have to trust Deadline because they don’t screw things like this up. There’s also this issue that SyFy has a tendency to bury important announcements in other press releases and I just don’t want to go through a month’s worth of them finding the official announcement.  So, as noted, and not surprisingly, SyFy has renewed the hit drama, Haven, for a fourth season.  If you followed us from the beginning you’d know that one of my earliest reviews was of Haven and to say that I was non-plussed would be putting it mildly.  I didn’t make it through the second episode. Now, it is true that some of the most horrible shows have lasted forever (see: Two and a Half MenCSI) but normally when a series has the kind of successful run that Haven has had, there is usually something to it.

So, what do you think?  Should I give Haven another shot?

Here’s my original review of Haven.  Feel free to call me an idiot if it’s warranted, just like Connie, the queen of grammar and spelling, did at the end of the review (I’m also a “moran,” apparently).
